Romestead servers can change or remove their server password to customize or make it public. Private servers are a much more secure way to progress, especially for beginners, preventing random users from joining with late-game characters. Alternatively, public servers can create chaotic, fun gameplay, allowing any player to join and potentially bring over items and high-power characters. This can allow for faster boss progression or worlds where players can come together to create sprawling buildings and creations.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Server Password field, enter the desired password.
5. Start the server.
