Installing BetterRuins on a Vintage Story server breathes life into the wilderness by replacing empty stretches of land with diverse, procedurally generated structures and lore-rich remains. These new locations provide players with meaningful exploration goals and unique scavenging opportunities that aren't available in the base game's more sparse world generation. By adding this variety, server owners can foster a deeper sense of discovery and encourage long-term player engagement through a more atmospheric and "lived-in" environment.
