Vintage Story servers can adjust the hunger and food spoil rates to help ease newer players into the game, or to create a more laid-back playstyle. Users can also enable or disable harsh winters, changing how the winter season affects planted crops and animal spawns. Players can also help alleviate hunger by establishing a Chicken Coop or by ranching animals themselves, providing a better, more accessible source of food.
