Arma Reforger Persistence is a system that saves server-side game states. This includes player positions, inventories, vehicle damage, and more. Additional stats can also be tracked through the use of mods. Persistence is primarily used in 'Conflict' mode to allow for long-running sessions, retaining relevant information to draw out battles. Persistence can also be used with existing save and configuration files. By backing up the relevant files and installing them on a persistence server, players can enjoy any installed mods and adjusted settings.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
Note: If using a fresh server, skip to step 7.
3. Go to the Startup tab and take note of any custom changes.
4. Go to the Files tab.
5. Select config.json and profile by clicking their checkbox.
6. Press Download.
7. Go to the Home tab.
8. Under Installed, select Swap Game.
9. Choose Arma Reforger.
10. Select Arma Reforger - Persistence.
11. Choose what to do with the remaining files.
12. Press Confirm and wait for the installation to finish.
13. After installing, go to the Startup tab and make any adjustments noted in step 3.
Note: Fresh servers may skip the remaining steps and start the server.
14. Go to the Files tab.
15. Upload the downloaded files from step 5.
16. Right-click the .zip file and press Unarchive.
17. Start the server.
