Turning off the third-person view on an Arma Reforger server promotes a more immersive and realistic gameplay experience by requiring players to rely solely on their first-person perspective. Removing the third-person view enhances tactical challenges and situational awareness, as players can no longer use the third-person to gain an advantage by peeking around corners or over obstacles. It also levels the playing field, ensuring all participants engage under the same conditions for a fairer and more engaging combat environment.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Third Person dropdown, choose Disabled.
5. Start the server.
