Rust's primitive and medieval servers offer a way to restrict certain items from appearing, locking players to a specific level of advancement, and creating unique and interesting dynamics. Servers set to primitive limits the items that players can use, while medieval adds various dark-age themed skins and items to enhance immersion. These two eras are interchangeable and can be used together to create tech-locked, medieval-themed servers.
