Switching game modes on a Vintage Story server allows administrators to tailor the experience, moving between the brutal realism of Wilderness Survival and the unrestricted freedom of Creative Mode. This flexibility is essential for repairing world-gen glitches or building complex community hubs without the constant threat of starvation and temporal stability. Ultimately, changing the mode ensures the gameplay stays aligned with the players' current goals, whether they crave a hardcore challenge or a relaxed collaborative project.
