Creating a custom Game ID provides stability for players who frequently join a Core Keeper server using the unique session code. By default, a dedicated server may randomize this ID upon every restart, forcing players to look up a new string of characters each time the world goes live. A manual ID must meet specific technical criteria, such as being at least 28 characters long and excluding punctuation or the number zero. Having a consistent ID ensures that the connection process remains seamless and predictable for the entire party.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. On the Server Game ID table, enter the desired alphanumeric ID.
Note: The ID must be at least 15-28 characters long and must not include the following:
Number: 0
Uppercase Letters: I, O, Y
Lowercase Letters: l, o, x, y
5. Start the server.
