Enshrouded servers can customize various food and hunger settings to extend the duration of food buffs, as well as change the starvation settings on a server. By adjusting these settings, players can use food buffs for longer durations, encouraging them to look for recipes with the stats they want. Additionally, by extending the time before starving, players can also explore for longer durations without needing to sustain themselves with food.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Config Files tab and choose Enshrouded Server Config.
4. Ensure the Difficulty Preset is set to Custom.
Note: Check over other difficulty options, as the custom preset will overwrite previous modifiers.
5. The Enable Starving Debuff setting will change whether players are afflicted with starvation. When disabled, the debuff will not be applied.
6. Hungry State Duration will set the time in nanoseconds before starvation sets in.
7. The Food Buff Duration setting will change the duration food buffs affect the player. The value is based on Percentage, meaning a value of 2 would make buffs last twice as long.
8. Start the server.
