Permadeath is a hardcore setting in HumanitZ that ensures a character's death is permanent, significantly raising the stakes of every encounter with the undead. When enabled, death can result in the deletion of the character's progress or even the entire world save, depending on the chosen intensity level. This feature is intended for veteran survivors who want a high-risk experience where every decision carries weight.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose HumanitZ Server Config.
4. On the Perma Death table, choose the desired setting.
- Off - Disabled
- Individual - Reset when the host dies
- All - Reset when any player dies
5. Start the server.
