HumanitZ servers can be a fairly brutal experience, with hordes of zombies roaming and the risk of an infectious zombie bite. In addition, zombies become much more challenging to deal with at night. Reducing the overall night duration can be set to any desired length, or longer days can be set to allow for more time to explore. These two settings determine the overall time it takes to complete a day, so players who would like a more realistic time setting can increase the durations in minutes.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose HumanitZ Server Config.
4. From the Day/Night Duration field, enter the desired length in minutes, respectively.
Note: The two settings combined will determine how long a full day takes to complete.
5. Start the server.
