Modifying the maximum backpack space on an Echoes of Elysium server directly influences the rhythm of exploration by determining how long players can scavenge before returning to base. Increasing storage capacity facilitates large-scale construction projects and reduces the inventory management downtime that can sometimes interrupt the flow of adventure. Conversely, tightening these limits heightens the survival challenge, forcing players to make strategic decisions about which rare resources are truly worth carrying back from the wilderness.
Note: Max Backpack Space will not change for players who joined before the new settings were implemented. Learn how to reset player data here
