HumanitZ servers can be set up with a server whitelist/allowlist. By enabling the list, server managers will be able to designate specific players to join and play. Compared to a server password, a whitelist is a much more restrictive method to securing a server, ensuring that only specific known players can connect and preventing users from guessing the current password. Players can find the required SteamIDs on popular sites such as steamid.io or on their profile page.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Open the HumanitZServer folder.
5. Open the Create menu and choose Create File.
6. Enter the SteamID64 for all players to be added, separated per line.
7. Once finished editing, choose Create File.
8. Enter F_MVPAccess.txt for the file name, then click Create File.
9. Go to the Startup tab.
10. Under Only Allowed Players, select Enabled.
11. Start the server.
