To receive donations on BisectHosting servers, server owners must first enable donations and then share their donation links with their players. Enabling donations is a great way to establish community funding for a server and ensure it can keep running without one individual fronting the costs. This is an excellent option for content creators who want to establish a long-running server for their communities.

Note: Donations are received as Account Credits, which can be used to pay for server renewal costs. Donations cannot be cashed out.

Note: Account credits are automatically applied to newly generated invoices and can be applied manually to any existing invoices on the account.

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Go to the Donations tab.

3. Ensure that Donations are Toggled On.

4. Review the Terms of Service Agreement, then choose I Accept.

Note: By accepting the Terms of Service, the user acknowledges that all transactions are final. There are no refunds available for donations to servers.

5. Copy the donation link. This link can be shared with players through server messages or announcements.

6. Adjust the Preferences to set what fields are required when making donations.

7. View any received donations through the donation History, and view the current balance in the Credit Wallet.

How to Send a Donation to a BisectHosting Server

1. Open the provided Donation Link.

2. Fill out any Required or Optional fields, then select the donation amount.

Note: Donation currency is locked to the currency of the server owner. Donations can only be made using the server owner's local currency.

3. Fill out the Payment Details.

4. Press Confirm Donation to send the donation to the server.
