VEIN servers have numerous server settings, known as 'console variables', that can drastically change the gameplay on a server. By changing the XP multiplier, users can increase or decrease the rate at which players earn experience. This can help reduce the pace on a server or make it a more even playing field, which can be an important factor for PvP servers.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Choose the Config Files dropdown menu and select Console Variables.
4. From the XP Multiplier section, set the desired value.
Note: All experience gained will be multiplied by this value. E.g: A value of
2.0would grant players twice the amount of normal experience.
5. Start the server.
