A StarRupture server can install mods that will be active for all players on the server. Users can choose from a large variety of mods, such as increased power generation, stack size, or gather rate. However, server owners should be aware that players can still install mods on their own clients and connect to the server. Ensure that the server is properly secured with a password to prevent users from exploiting local mods.

How to Install Mods on a StarRupture Server

1. Download a mod from a site such as NexusMods.

2. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

3. Stop the server.

4. Go to the Files tab.

5. Find the following directory: /home/container/StarRupture/Content/Paks

6. Drag and drop the .zip mod file into the folder.

7. Right-click the .zip mod file and hit Unarchive.

8. Start the server.

How to Install StarRupture Mods on a Client

Note: Most mods installed locally will remain active when playing on a server.

1. Download a mod from a site such as NexusMods.

2. From the Steam Library, right-click StarRupture, hover Manage and choose Browse local files.

3. Find the following directory: /StarRupture/StarRupture/Content/Paks

4. Transfer the .zip mod file to the folder.

5. Unzip the .zip mod file into the folder
