A StarRupture local save can be migrated to and from a dedicated server. By uploading a save, players can continue any progress made locally with all the benefits that a server has to offer. This allows users to retain any ores, structures, and character progression. Server saves can also be downloaded and used locally, allowing players to keep backups or continue progressing offline.
