Enshrouded server saves can be downloaded locally and imported to singleplayer, allowing users to continue their progress offline or to keep the save safe during server downtime. Similarly, local saves can also be uploaded back to a server at any time, making it an effective method for keeping backups, making world copies, or exploring new and creative character builds.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server..
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Find the following directory: /home/container/savegame .
5. Right-click the Most Recent Save and choose Download.
6. Extract the downloaded file into a new empty folder.
7. Launch Enshrouded.
8. Press Play and choose Private.
9. Next to New Game, press Create.
10. Choose Create.
11. Load the created world by pressing Play.
12. After loading in, choose Quit to Desktop.
13. Open File Explorer.
14. Find the following directory: Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata.
15. Open the desired SteamID3 folder. Learn how to find SteamID3 here.
16. Open the Enshrouded game folder named 1203620.
17. Open the remote folder.
18. Sort the files inside by Date Modified.
19. Locate the newest World Files, they will be the most recently modified.
20. Select all _info and index files from the new world, then choose Delete.
Note: Do not delete any character saves, only the most recent world files.
21. Copy the name of the new world file.
22. Rename the extracted world from step 6 to the name of the new world.
23. Drag and Drop the renamed server world into the local folder, then choose Replace.
24. Launch Enshrouded.
25. The newly created world will now be replaced with the server save.
Note: The Flame Level will show as 'Level 1' until the world is loaded for the first time.
