Enshrouded server saves can be downloaded locally and imported into singleplayer. This allows players to continue their progress offline or keep their save safe during server downtime. Similarly, local saves can be uploaded to a server at any time, making it an effective way to keep backups, create world copies, or explore new and creative character builds.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Open the savegame folder.
5. Right-click world0.ksd and choose Download.
6. Minimize the .ksd file to use later in the tutorial.
7. Open File Explorer.
8. Find the following directory: C:\Users\<Username>\Saved Games\keen games\Enshrouded\default
9. If present, backup or delete the current world0.ksd.
10. Drag and drop world0.ksd from step 6 into the default folder.
11. Launch Enshrouded.
12. Press Play.
13. Choose Start A Session.
14. Select the Savegames:Local tab.
15. The downloaded world save will display in the first slot.
