Conan Exiles has many community-created maps for users to install and utilize locally or on dedicated servers. By installing a custom map, users can significantly enhance the variety on a server and explore a completely new environment than the default forbidden lands. The process for installing custom maps is similar to installing mods; however, users must also retrieve the map file name to utilize them on a server.
How to Install a Custom Map
1. From the Steam library, choose Conan Exiles.
2. Select Workshop.
3. Subscribe to the desired map mod.
4. Copy the map's Workshop ID.
The ID can also be found at the end of the URL in the address bar.
5. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
6. Stop the server.
7. Go to the Mods tab.
8. In the Steam Workshop Installer field, paste the Workshop ID from step 4 and press Install. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the mod.
Note: If pasting a Workshop URL, delete all text except for the numbers at the end.
