Vintage Story has an in-game server list that displays available public servers for players to connect to. However, many servers on this list remain private and are not publicly available for players to join. In addition, servers are listed on the server list by default, making passwordless servers vulnerable to interference from strangers. This can be solved by securing the server via other means; however, some users may prefer to remove the listing entirely.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose Server Config.
4. From the "AdvertiseServer" line, set the value to false.
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
