Vintage Story is a popular sandbox survival game that can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes. Vintage Story offers a challenging, immersive survival experience that focuses on exploration, creativity, and community building. Uploading a world file to a Vintage Story server lets you show builds to friends on multiplayer servers, explore the game together, and continue from where you left off in a single-player.
1. From Vintage Story, take note of the Saves folder.
2. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
3. Stop the server.
4. Go to the Files tab.
5. Find the following directory: /home/container/data/Saves .
6. Upload the world file or the .vcdbs file and wait for the upload to finish.
7. Archive or delete any unwanted world files.
8. Select the Config Files tab and choose Server Config.
9. Navigate to the "WorldConfig": { line.
10. Next to "SaveFileLocation":, change the value to "./data/Saves/UploadNAME.vcdbs".
11. Press the Save button.
12. Start the server.
