V Rising has many materials tied to progression in the game. One of the most important resources is the radium alloy, which allows players to upgrade their castle hearts, craft new armor, and Reforge Shattered Weapons. This resource is located in the dangerous Gloomrot zone and requires a boss to be taken down before it can be crafted. Radium alloy can be found in various boxes around factories inside the Gloomrot zone, which also contain the tech scrap needed to craft the metal.
1. To acquire the recipe for Radium Alloy, players must defeat Ziva the Engineer, who can be tracked through the V Blood menu.
2. Locate Ziva by tracking their blood to the Trancendum Machine Factory in the Gloomrot zone.
3. While hunting the boss, make sure to get lots of Tech Scrap and Mutant Grease, as they are required to craft Radium Alloy.
4. With the materials acquired and the boss killed, build the Fabricator crafting station.
5. Use the fabricator to craft Sludge-filled Canisters.
6. Pick up the crafted canisters and bring them to a Furnace containing the Radium Alloy recipe.
7. The furnace will automatically craft the alloy when materials are inside.
