V Rising has released a significant update called Invaders of Oakveil. The update introduces several new systems, weapons, spells, and endgame objectives. The new spells are spread out through each magic school, adding seven new spells to the already broad Spell List. The new weapons, including daggers, twin blades, and claws, come with three abilities each, like the other vanilla weapon types.

	Arctic Storm	Channel a wave of frost over 1.2s, dealing 180% magic damage and inflicting Chill. Conjures a cone of cold at the end of the effect, freezing any target hit for 2 seconds.
	Curse	Conjure 5 wisps in a cone, inflicting Weaken and Curse. Curse reduces movement speed by 25% for 3.5s, and 40% of damage taken during the effect is dealt as additional damage when the curse ends. May deal up to a maximum of 500% damage.
	Army of the Dead	Inflict Condemn on nearby enemies and summon an army of 5 skeleton warriors and three skeleton mages around you. Skeletons last for up to 8 seconds.
	Lightning Typhoon	Spin around, gaining a 125% fading haste and shock nearby enemies, dealing 800% spell damage and inflicting Static over 4s. Occasionally release lightning sparks, dealing 40% spell damage and inflicting Static.
	Lightning Tendrils	Launch 6 Lightning Bolts in a sequence that deals 40% magic damage each and inflicts Static.
