V Rising teaches players to avoid sunlight and mostly move around during nighttime to avert attention and prevent burning to a crisp in the day. Fortunately, the day/night cycle also includes a powerful buff for vampires called the Blood Moon. The blood moon occurs at a set frequency and is a very helpful boon for creatures of the night, allowing them to move more quickly, all while under the cover of night. This guide covers adjusting the frequency of blood moons and the strength of their benefits.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Config Files tab and select Game Settings.
4. From the BloodMoonFrequency lines, make any desired edits.
Note: Be cautious when making edits. If any settings are set beyond their Minimum or Maximum values, the server will crash on startup.

5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
