VEIN servers are set with a default password during a fresh installation. Changing this initial password restricts access to trusted users and prevents random individuals from joining to cause mayhem. Communities wishing to operate public servers by removing or sharing the password can assign active administrators to moderate player behavior and maintain the game environment.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. In the Server Password field, change the password.
5. Start the server.
