Adding a password to a Satisfactory server ensures secure access and protects user accounts. These passwords are the keys that allow clients to connect to the server and participate in the game. It is essential for clients to choose strong, unique passwords and for server administrators to enforce robust security measures to maintain server integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
Requirement: Adding a password requires admin permissions.
1. Launch Satisfactory.
2. Click Server Manager.
3. Select the server.
4. Go to the Server Settings tab.
5. Click Authenticate.
6. Enter the Administrator password and hit Confirm.
7. Next to Player Password Protection, click Change Password.
8. Input a client password and press Confirm.
Note: Leave the password fields blank to remove the password.
