Starground servers can alter their world seed to copy the randomized locations of an existing world. These world seeds can be shared by other community members or found in local save files. Setting a world seed can be a great way to keep the same world while resetting the server and building progress. This can be especially helpful with cheats enabled, as players can rebuild anything they find essential to the world.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to Config Files > Server Config from the left sidebar.
4. On the "Seed": line, change the value to the desired world seed. These can be found from existing save files or other community members.
5. On the SavePath= line, remove any value between the quotation marks to generate a new world.
6. Press the Save button.
7. Start the server.
