Changing the difficulty on a RimWorld Together server lets players tailor the game's challenge to their preferences and skills, ensuring a more enjoyable, balanced multiplayer experience. Adjusting the difficulty can enhance cooperative gameplay by creating a more engaging and strategic experience for all players.
1. Join the server as an admin.
2. Select the admin icon in the top right corner.
3. Click Difficulty Manager.
4. Press No.
5. Press ESC twice and select Options.
6. Go to the Gameplay tab.
7. On Storyteller settings, click Modify.
8. Choose a difficulty and hit Close.
9. Press OK.
Note: Skip the following steps below unless setting the same difficulty for all players.
10. Return to the admin icon in the top right corner.
11. Click Difficulty Manager.
12. Select Yes.
