Stardew Valley servers are primarily run using a 'ServerBot' as the host player; this allows the server to always be running, with the downside of the main farmhouse being occupied. While there are many console commands available, there are also message commands that use the host bot. These commands are fundamental as they allow players to move permissions from the bot to everyone on the server and enable the completion of objectives like the Joja Theatre.
1. Join the server.
2. Run the following command in the in-game chat: /message ServerBot [command]
3. The bot will reply if the command goes through.
