Stardew Valley has many mods that can drastically affect how the game is played and make the players' lives significantly more convenient. One of the most consistent money-making methods in Stardew Valley is ranching or raising animals. While profitable, caring for the animals can be quite a chore. With the better ranching mod installed, numerous improvements are made to the base ranching system, such as preventing milking/shearing attempts from failing.
Requirement: Both server and client must have the mods installed.

Note: Mods may potentially stop working after a SMAPI update.
How to Install the Better Ranching Mod on a Stardew Valley Server
1. Download the Better Ranching mod here.
2. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
3. Stop the server.
4. Go to the Files tab.
5. Open the Mods folder.
6. Drag and drop the .zip file from step 1.
7. Right-click on the .zip file and click Unarchive.
8. Start the server.

1. Download the Better Ranching mod here.
2. Find the Stardew Valley mods directory:
