Path of Titans servers are a great way to build a community of like-minded dinosaurs and experience all the game offers. Server owners can control who has access and can play on the server by adding a password. This allows groups of friends to play together without joining a public server and supports public servers that wish to remain more selective over who can Join the Server. Passwords are a less secure method than whitelisting, but they are still effective at keeping most players from joining.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Find the following directory: /home/container/PathOfTitans/Saved/Config/LinuxServer .
Note: The server needs to be started once to generate the files above.
5. Open the Game.ini file.
6. In a new line, paste the following: [/Script/PathOfTitans.IGameSession]
7. Under the pasted line, enter the following with the desired password: ServerPassword=PasswordHere
8. Once finished editing, choose Save.
9. Start the server.
