Counter Strike 2 is the newest release of the popular Counter Strike series, succeeding Counter-Strike: Global Offensive while also allowing the player base to retain any items or player skins that have been purchased or earned. Counter-Strike 2, however, is still incorporating certain features from CS:GO, including the in-game server browser. As a result, the only current way to connect to a server is through the Steam client.
Note: If the server has a password, use the developer console steps here.
