Barotrauma servers are, by default, listed among all the other dedicated servers for the game. This public server list is a great way to meet new people and attract new and unknown players. Some users, however, may only want to play with a tight-knit group of people or friends. Fortunately, the server can be removed from the public list. Making a server private makes it, so players can only join via direct connect, requiring a server password if one is set.

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Public Server field, input False.
5. Start the server.
