Avorion servers are typically listed on the public server browser. Any player can see and join the server; however, players who want a private server can set a password to restrict random users from joining. This is especially useful for players continuing local saves or galaxies, as they may wish to retain the same users. In addition to a server password, users can customize the other aspects of their servers, such as server name, description, and numerous in-game settings.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Server Password field, input the desired password.
5. Start the server.
