The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria allows players to seamlessly transfer save progress to and from dedicated servers by uploading the necessary files. This allows players to migrate from other hosts, or upload local single-player saves so that no progress is lost. Uploading a save also transfers all difficulty options, meaning that players can continue playing with their preferred settings without changing anything.
1. Open the Run menu by pressing the Windows + R keys.
2. Enter %localappdata%\Moria\Saved and choose OK.
3. Open the SaveGames folder for the appropriate platform.
4. World Saves will start with MW_ and be .sav files. Sorting by Date Modified will show recently loaded files.
5. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
6. Stop the server.
7. Go to the Files tab.
8. Find the following directory: /home/container/Moria/Saved/SaveGamesDedicated .
9. Upload the save to the server by dragging and dropping.
10. Go to Config Files > Server Config from the left sidebar.
11. Navigate to the OptionalWorldFilename line.
12. Enter the filename of the uploaded world without .sav at the end.
13. Once finished editing, choose Save.
14. Start the server.
