Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria features a highly replay-able gameplay loop that randomizes locations and resources by designating a world seed. This allows players to share desirable world seeds, effectively playing on the same map. This is also a good alternative for users who do not want to transfer saves but still want familiar resource placement and locations. Players can find their world seed by pressing escape and looking in the top-left corner.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to Config Files > Server Config from the left sidebar.
4. On the Seed line, change random to the desired world seed.
To find a world seed in-game, hit Esc on the keyboard and look in the top-left corner.
5. Once finished editing, choose Save.
6. Go to the Startup tab.
7. On the World Name field, enter a new save name.
8. Start the server.
