Ark: Survival Evolved servers come with a preconfigured RCON (Remote Connection) port and settings; however, this feature is typically not available in Ark. With the aid of third-party tools, Ark server owners and moderators can use RCON to execute commands and monitor the server state even when not connected. This provides a far more effective and secure moderation method and is essential for server owners who are serious about keeping their servers safe.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose Ark User Settings.
4. From the RCONEnabled line, set the value to True. Take note of the RCONPort.
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
7. Go to the Ark RCON Admin site and download the latest version.
8. Extract the file into an empty folder and launch ara.exe.
9. Once open, right-click and choose New Server.
10. Enter the following details:
Host: Server's IP
RCON-Port: Port from step 4
