Decreasing the difficulty level can make the game more accessible to players who may find the game's default settings too complicated or overwhelming. Adjusting the difficulty level can provide players with a unique and personalized gaming experience tailored to their skill level and preferences. Ark also allows detailed customization on individual game settings on a server.

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase Panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Config Files tab and choose ARK User Settings.
4. Under [ServerSettings], find the following:
DifficultyOffset=1.0OverrideOfficialDifficulty=(Number 1.0-10.0)
Note: DifficultyOffset will be
1to allow calculating the OverrideOfficialDifficulty to be easier. To determine the OverrideOfficialDifficulty, take the desired max level and divide it by30.
Example:150(desired max level)/30 = 5.0as theOverrideOfficialDifficulty.
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
