Ark: Survival Evolved's building system offers a great deal of flexibility. However, it can feel limiting at times when building in a cluttered or confined area. By disabling structure collision, players can place structures regardless of the environment they collide with; this can make for highly creative and fun builds and adds a new strategic aspect to the game by increasing the number of potential base locations.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose Ark Game Settings.
4. Enter the following in a new line: bDisableStructurePlacementCollision=true
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
