The Storm's Brewing 2.0 update in 7 Days to Die introduces a dynamic weather system that adds dangerous, biome-specific storms. The Storm Frequency setting on a dedicated server can be adjusted to control how often these damaging storms occur. This setting can be scaled from 0%, which disables storms entirely, up to 500%, making them five times more frequent. This feature enables players to customize the environmental difficulty, requiring them to find or build an adequate shelter to survive threats beyond the zombie hordes.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose Server Config.
4. Under Game Rules, on the <property name="StormFreq" line, edit to the desired value. 0 disables the storms.
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
