Changing the map on a 7 Days to Die server provides a fresh landscape and geographical layout for communities to conquer. Switching among hand-crafted Navezgane, developer-made pregenerated worlds, or randomly generated terrains alters the proportions of biomes and the density of cities. These environmental shifts force survivors to adapt base-building strategies and exploration routes to suit the new terrain.
