Bicycles are one of the most helpful tools for an early-game character as they don't require fuel, are much faster than walking, have their own storage, and can be picked up anytime. As a result, utilizing the Bicycle is essential for weathering the game's challenging survival mechanics and can make hunting for airdrops or traveling to traders much more convenient.
1. The easiest method to obtain a Bicycle is through Trader Tasks. Alternatively, Bicycles can be crafted using the method below.
2. To obtain the Bicycle Recipe, players need to use 4 Vehicle Adventures magazines.
3. Reading these magazines will increase the Vehicles Crafting Skill, which unlocks the Bicycle.
4. To craft the Bicycle, players will need the Tier 2 Workstations Skill.
5. Workstations Tier 2 can be acquired by reading 9 Forge Ahead magazines.
6. Once both skills are unlocked, place and interact with the Workbench.
7. To craft the Bicycle Parts, the following materials are required:
- 13 Forged Iron
- 5 Mechanical Parts
- 6 Duct Tape
- 6 Leather
- 6 Spring
- 9 Short Iron Pipe
- 48 Scrap Polymers
