Rebuilding a VPS server involves reconfiguring the server's operating system and settings, essentially restoring it to its original state. This process is necessary in certain situations, such as when an SSH key was not selected during initial setup or when the server's configuration has become corrupted or compromised. Rebuilding the server allows for a fresh start, ensuring the server is secure and functioning properly.
Note: Rebuilding a VPS server will delete all existing data and install a fresh operating system or blank disk, depending on the options chosen.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting VPS panel.
2. Select Manage on the chosen VPS server.
3. Hit Rebuild.
4. Click Continue.
5. Go through the VPS server setup and click Install with [Operating System Name].
