Ark: Survival Evolved can be played on either PvE or PvP servers. On PvP servers, users may experience player raids or griefing of their bases and tamed dinosaurs. However, Ark servers set to PvE don't allow players to harm each other, creating a positive environment focused on progression rather than territory control. 3. Select the Config Files tab and choose GameUserSettings.ini.

5. Select the Config Files tab and choose Game.ini.
6. From the Use AutoPvE Timers dropdown, choose Disabled.
