Changing player difficulty settings on an Enshrouded server allows administrators to customize combat intensity, resource availability, and damage multipliers to match their community's playstyle. Lowering difficulty options makes the environment more forgiving for casual exploration and cooperative building, whereas increasing parameters creates a punishing survival challenge for seasoned players. This flexibility helps server hosts maintain long-term player engagement and cater specifically to either casual or hardcore groups.

2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Settings tab and choose Enshrouded Server Config.
