Prehistoric World 2 is an exploration and progression-focused Minecraft modpack that centers on uncovering fossils and interacting with extinct creatures. The core gameplay revolves around excavating remains, extracting genetic material, and reviving dozens of dinosaur and ancient mammal species. Players can travel to distinct historical periods, such as the Paleogene and Pleistocene eras, to gather resources and observe animals in their natural habitats. Beyond paleontology, the pack incorporates industrial automation and modern security systems, enabling the construction of reinforced research facilities and the defense against large predators.
