Changing a Necesse server's branch to a previous version prevents official updates from breaking installed mods or plugins before authors release compatible patches. It protects existing world saves and character data from corruption caused by structural changes in newer game updates. 1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Select the Settings tab and choose Startup.
