BattlEye is an anti-cheat system in the zombie-survival game Unturned that scans for unauthorized software and prevents unfair advantages. Deactivating it may prevent initialization crashes when launching Unturned dedicated servers on certain operating systems, such as Linux. It also prioritizes basic accessibility for small groups over the strict security measures necessary for public player-versus-player environments.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose Game Settings.
4. Locate the BattlEye_Secure line and add True.
5. Press Save.
6. Start the server.
