In a RuneScape: Dragonwilds Server, the ServerName variable functions as the primary identifier for the save file used during the loading process and doubles as the public name visible on the in-game server list. Meanwhile, the DefaultWorldName is a metadata setting that determines the text displayed specifically under the "Created By" header within the server browser. Correctly configuring both values allows for a customized server identity that clearly communicates the save's name and the creator's tag to other players.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. In the Server Name field, enter the desired name. The Server Name is case-sensitive and doubles as the <world>.sav name and the server browser name.
5. Under Created By, input the desired name. Created By is named DefaultWorldName in the DedicatedServer.ini and is displayed in the server browser under the Created By header.
Note: The Startup tab variables will always override the DedicatedServer.ini.
6. Start the server.
7. Go to the Files tab.
8. Find the following directory: /home/container/RSDragonwilds/Saved/SaveGames
9. The active <world>.sav from step 4 is displayed while previous worlds are saved in the BackupSaves folder.
At the same time, the Server Name (ServerName)and Created By (DefaultWorldName) fields are shown in the in-game server browser.
