How Does Mining Work?

Mining in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the act of collecting resources from rocks around the world. Over the course of the game, players will encounter higher-tier ores and minerals that will require upgraded pickaxes to harvest. Additionally, mining can be made more efficient with various consumables and higher-tier pickaxes, allowing players to harvest faster. Every time the player mines, they will receive Mining Skill XP, progressing their levels and unlocking new abilities and spells.

Pickaxes

Pickaxes are required tools for mining various ores and minerals. Higher-level pickaxes allow players to mine more quickly and acquire higher-tier resources.

Mineable Resources

Various resources can be obtained using the pickaxe, including minerals, ores, and gems. After fully mining a resource, it will respawn after three or four in-game days.
